ABOUT THE SERIES

The goal is to celebrate Masters cycling racing in the USA and give back to Junior Development!  

We will accomplish this by:

• Selecting the best marquee events

• Promoting the highest level of Masters competition

• Operating an engaging online and onsite community

• Providing coveted recognition, awards and prizes

• Offering a valuable proposition to our sponsors and supporters

CATEGORIES: 

- 60+ (60-69), the series will aggregate the points awarded to your top 12 results from the total of 30 races available.

- 50+ (50-59), the series will aggregate the points awarded to your top 12 results from the total of 30 races available. 

- 40+ (40-49), the series will aggregate the points awarded to your top 12 results from the total of 30 available races.

CALENDAR:

The following races are eligible for USA Masters Cup points:

At Tucson Bicycle Classic, the eligible races are:

- for 60+, 50+ and 40+ all 3 races from Fri, Feb 23 to Sun, Feb 25

At Outdoor Capital Classic in Jackson, GA, the eligible races are:

- for 60+, 50+ and 40+ all 3 races from Fri, Mar  22  to Sun, Mar 24

At Austin Subaru's ace Bend Weekend, the races eligible races are:

- for 60+, 50+ and 40+ all 3 races from Fri, Mar 8  to Sun, Mar 10

At Golden State, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- for 60+, 50+ and 40+ all 3 races from Fri, May 3  to Sun, May 5

At Tour of North Georgia, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- for 60+, 50+ and 40+ all 4 races from Fri, May 24 to Sun, May 26

At Tour of America's Dairyland, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- for 60+ the first 5 races from Thu, Jun 13 to Tue, Jun 17

- for 50+ the first 5 races from Thu, Jun 13 to Tue, Jun 17

- for 40+ the last 5 days from Wed, Jun 18 to Sun, Jun 22

At Chicago Grit (fka Intelligentsia Cup), the races eligible for Cup points are:

- for 60+ the first 5 races from Fri, Jul 19 to Tue, Jul 23

- for 50+ the first 5 races from Fri, Jul 19 to Tue, Jul 23

- for 40+ the first 5 races from Fri, Jul 19 to Tue, Jul 23

At Gateway Cup, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- for 60+, 50+ and 40+ all 4 races from Fri, Aug 30 to Mon, Sep 2

POINTS & STANDINGS: 

- The points awarded based on each rider's placing are as follows:

      30 for 1st, 28 for 2nd, 26 for 3rd, 24 for 4th, 22 for 5th,

      20 for 6th, 18 for 7th, 16 for 8th, 14 for 9th, 12 for 10th, 

      10 for 11th, 8 for 12th, 6 for 13th, 4 for 14th, 2 for 15th.

RECOGNITION & AWARDS:

- Individual Champions:  Recognition, Cash, Jersey, Trophy

- 2nd and 3rd places:  Recognition, Cash, T-Shirts

- 4th to 10th places:  Recognition, T-Shirts

- All Riders:  Recognition

The final Recognition & Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, September 2th at the Benton Park Classic after the Masters races.
