ABOUT THE SERIES

The goals are to celebrate Masters cycling racing in the USA and to give back to Junior Development!  

We will accomplish this by:

• Selecting the best marquee events

• Promoting the highest level of Masters competition

• Operating an engaging online and onsite community

• Providing coveted recognition, awards and prizes

• Offering a valuable proposition to our sponsors and supporters

CATEGORIES, POINTS & STANDINGS: 

The categories are 40+, 50+, and 60+.

The points awarded are based on each rider's placing:

      30 for 1st, 28 for 2nd, 26 for 3rd, 24 for 4th, 22 for 5th,

      20 for 6th, 18 for 7th, 16 for 8th, 14 for 9th, 12 for 10th, 

      10 for 11th, 8 for 12th, 6 for 13th, 4 for 14th, 2 for 15th.

The standings are calculated by aggregating the Top 15 results from a total of 32 races available for 50+/60+ and 33 races available for 40+.

RECOGNITION & AWARDS:

- Individual Champions:  Recognition, Cash, Jersey, Trophy

- 2nd and 3rd places:  Recognition, Cash, T-Shirts

- All Riders:  Recognition

The final Recognition & Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, September 1st at the Tour de Florissant after the Masters races.

The following races are eligible for USA Masters Cup points:

At Tucson Bicycle Classic, the eligible races are:

- 4 races for 40+ and 3 races for 50+, 60+ on Fri, Feb 21 to Sun, Feb 23

At Austin Subaru's ace Bend Weekend, the races eligible races are:

- 3 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Fri, Mar 14 to Sun, Mar 16

At Outdoor Capital Classic in Jackson, GA, the eligible races are:

- 3 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Fri, Mar  21 to Sun, Mar 23

At Speedweek in Athens, GA and Peachtree Corners, GA, the eligible races are:

- 2 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Sat, Apr 26 and Sun, Apr 27.

At Golden State, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- 3 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Fri, May 2  to Sun, May 4

At Tour of North Georgia, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- 4 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Fri, Jun 6 to Sun, Jun 8

At Tour of America's Dairyland, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- 5 races for Masters 40+ on Jun 19-23 and 4 races for Masters 50+/60+ on Jun 24-27

At Chicago Grit (fka Intelligentsia Cup), the races eligible for Cup points are:

- 5 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Fri, Jul 18  to Tue, Jul 23

At Gateway Cup, the races eligible for Cup points are:

- 4 races for 40+, 50+, 60+ on Fri, Aug 29 to Mon, Sep 1
